The MPI ThermalAir TA-1000 high-capacity temperature conditioner system is used for temperature testing, rapid thermal cycling and temperature characterization of components, hybrids, modules, printed circuit boards and other electronic and non-electronic components at precise temperatures from -25°C to +200°C.
The TA-1000's DC-controlled power adjusts almost instantly to your temperature settings and real-time test conditions, providing precise temperature control when you need it while saving energy.

The main temperature control of the TA-1000 is done at the temperature thermocouple integrated in the outlet nozzle tip.
It is also possible to use external thermocouples (type K or T).
The user can control the TA-1000 output temperature flow from 4 to 12 SCFM (1.9 to 5.7 L/s), with continuous flow across the entire temperature range, 24/7.
Configuration and accessories
The air hose outlet of the 1.8 m long TA-1000 is available in two configurations:
Either with a rear panel output (TA-1000A);
Either a front panel output (TA-1000B);
to best meet the ergonomics of your test area.
The TA-1000 can be:
- Positionned on a benchtop for standalone operation. The TA-1000 has 4 side handles for easy transport.
- Integrated into a 19’’ rack (See photo of the TA-1000B in the chassis for 19’’ rack mounting)
- Installed on a trolley with dedicated wheels, in order to move it easily.
Accessories of the TA-1000 are:
- The arm which can be mounted on the TA-1000 or on its separate support, and which allows to support the thermal head and the double-walled glass bell ID 3.28’’ (83.31 mm)
- The cart rolling supporting the TA-1000
- The air dryer, which can be integrated into the rolling cart or mounted on the wall. It reduces the humidity of the incoming air to lower the dew point of the outgoing air to prevent frost.
